Having been a staple of the Columbus scene for several years via their live shows, Vena Cava self-produced and released this collection in 2005. Led by songwriter, vox, and guitar-man of many pedals Keith Novicki — and more-than-ably-assisted by Ed Shuttleworth (guitars + vox), Chris Nini (bass), and Ben Fredritz (drums) — the boys made a pretty fine melodic noise, both live and on record.
